PRP & PRP GEL

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a natural treatment created from a small sample of the patient’s own blood.
The blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate out the platelet-rich layer, which contains:

  • Growth factor

  • Healing proteins

  • Regenerative stem-cell signaling molecules

These components stimulate collagen, skin rejuvenation, tissue repair, and cellular regeneration. Because the product comes from the patient’s own body, PRP is 100% natural, extremely safe, and has minimal risk of allergy or reaction.

PRP (for skin, hair, or microneedling)

Most clients describe PRP as mild to moderate discomfort, and it depends on the area being treated.

    • Microneedling with PRP: Usually feels like a rough exfoliation. Numbing cream makes it very tolerable.

    • Under-eyes: Mild stinging or pressure during injection.

    • Hair restoration: This is the most sensitive PRP area — clients typically feel a series of small pinches or pressure on the scalp.

    • Acne scars/texture: Mild discomfort; numbing helps a lot.

    Pain Level (with numbing): 2–4/10
    Pain Level (hair treatment): 4–6/10

  • PRP Gel injections feel similar to regular dermal filler injections but usually less painful because it’s your own plasma.

    • Slight pressure or warmth

    • Occasional tiny pinches from the needle

    • Numbing and cold packs help keep discomfort minimal

    Pain Level (with numbing): 2–4/10

  • Recovery is typically very minimal, and most clients return to normal activities the same day or next day.

    Common after-effects (0–48 hours)

    • Mild redness (looks like a light sunburn)

    • Slight swelling

    • Tightness or dryness

    • Mild tenderness

    • Small bruises at injection sites (if treated under-eyes or scalp)

    • Mild swelling

    • Tenderness or soreness

    • Light bruising

    • Feeling of “fullness” in treated areas (under-eyes, cheeks, lines)

    • Work: Same day or next day

    • Exercise: 24–48 hours

    • Makeup: Usually after 24 hours

    • Swelling: Improves significantly within 48–72 hours

    • Heat (saunas, tanning, hot yoga) for 48 hours

    • Heavy workouts first 48 hours
